Brandlesholme is a pleasant place in which to live. It's close to both the town and country and the Burrs Country Park and the Kirklees Valley are in its vicinity. Founded in 1973, the Brandlesholme Residents’ Association has served to promote and protect the interests of all the residents in the community and to help further its amenities. With a current membership of some 1100 householders it has grown to be a powerful voice in local affairs.

Our democratic, non-political association is here to help all residents who live in the area, providing a forum for their views and opinions about local issues. That collective view is then given voice to ensure it is heard so that any possible changes reflects that view. One of the purposes of this web site is to be an extension of this resource.

We’ve seen some success over the years but it is down to the members of the Association supporting and helping us function as their voice. We are always looking for new members from those who are resident in Brandlesholme - the more of us there are, the stronger the voice we raise! See the box to the left of this page.

We hope you will enjoy your visit to our web site.
